Very soft and velvety texture. Aromas of chocolate and sweet fruit. Medium-bodied with delicious layers of fruit, chocolate and cacao. Very smooth tannins and a good finish on fruit - delicious! Elegance is the hallmark of this wine, but it still has the body to accompany roasts, meats, veal, and cheeses very effectively. A great, soft Barbaresco.

It is great with traditional Cabernet fare like roast beef, lamb chops, and pepper steak, but it also complements glazed pork or duck, grilled salmon and roasted vegetables (especially peppers and eggplant).
